Welcome to the website of Repel Dry LLC (doing business as "Repel Dry LLC"). By accessing or browsing our website, requesting inspections, or contracting for construction services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Licensing & Statutory Authority
All contracting services provided by Repel Dry LLC are executed in full accordance with Florida Statutes Chapter 489. Repel Dry LLC holds active Certified Roofing Contractor license CCC1332106, Certified Building Contractor license CBC1264358, and Certified Residential Contractor license CRC1332435 with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
2. Estimates and Scopes of Work
Preliminary roof assessments and verbal feedback do not constitute a binding legal contract until a formalized, written proposal or contract agreement is executed by both the property owner (or authorized agent) and an officer of Repel Dry LLC. Estimates are based on visible field conditions. Any concealed structural rot, damaged framing, or inadequate decking discovered during tear-off is addressed per contract addendum and local building department code requirements.
3. Permitting & Notices of Commencement
Per Florida law, any residential roofing contract exceeding $5,000 requires a recorded Notice of Commencement (NOC) filed with the County Clerk of Court prior to the first building inspection. Repel Dry LLC handles all permit pull procedures with the municipal building authorities (e.g., Flagler County, City of Palm Coast, City of Bunnell).
4. Insurance Claims Compliance
Under Florida law (including Florida Senate Bill 2-D and 4-D), contractors may not act as public adjusters or offer to pay, waive, or rebate homeowner insurance deductibles. Repel Dry LLC operates in strict compliance with all statutory provisions. We assist owners by providing factual damage documentation, photographic logs, and code-specified contractor estimates to assist during property adjustment.
5. Warranties & Manufacturer Specifications
Roof installations performed by Repel Dry LLC are backed by our written workmanship warranty in addition to manufacturer material warranties (e.g., GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed). Workmanship warranties are governed by the specific terms set forth in your written agreement.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action arising from work performed or website utilization shall be venued in the Seventh Judicial Circuit in Flagler County, Florida.
